Top 10 Father's Day Grilling Gifts

Men are hard to buy for. Am I right, ladies?
But some of the coolest gadgets are designed with the male Grillmaster in mind.

Here are 10 great gifts that will inspire any man to Get Out and Grill! I've also paired the appropriate grilling recipe for each gift. So you can package up your gift with a recipe for him. Hopefully this helps you in your Father's Day gift search.

1. Branding Iron
Let Dad make a big impression at his next barbecue - literally. Branding Iron comes with a full alphabet so he says what's on his mind - on your steak.
Doesn't get much more manly than that.

Best paired with: Rib-eye Steaks with Orange-Horseradish Sauce

2. Ultimate Flashlight Grill Tongs
Here's a bright idea. Grilling Tongs that light up so Dad can see what he's cooking long after the sun goes down. Of course that works in your favor as you'll be sure your burger is not still mooing when he serves it to you.

Best paired with: Pesto-Mozzarella Stuffed Chicken

3. Mini Grill in Cooler Bag
For the man who needs to grill anytime, anywhere, I bring you the Mini Grill, measuring in at 12.5" in diameter by 7.75" high. Okay, it's a little cute for a guy but it's highly functional and will enable him to grill at a moment's notice - and store a cold beverage in the insulated cooler bag. I don't see this gift collecting dust!

Best paired with: Fontina-Filled Burgers

4. Horseshoe Set
Horseshoes is one of the best old-school pre- and post- grilling games there is.
Dad gets to flex his muscles and pound the stakes into the ground. And then he gets to throw back a few with his buddies and try not to hit the house when he throws the horseshoe. Ahh good summer times.

Best paired with: Spiced Pulled Pork Sandwiches

5. Grilling Planks
This is another one of those things that are fun to grill with but you feel like it's a bit of a splurge. A great reason to give it as a gift. Dad will love the delicious wood-smoke flavor the wood gives to the meat, seafood or veggies he grills on top.

Best paired with: Teriyaki Salmon and Green Onion Kabobs

6. Bamboo Serving Plates
Help Dad get "green" by supplying him with these biodegradable plates to serve his fabulously grilled food on. You'll all enjoy the meal more knowing that you're doing the planet good.

Best paired with: Jicama and Avocado Salad with Smoked Chili-Orange Vinaigrette

7. Watermelon 3-Wick Citronella Candles
How can Dad focus on grilling the perfect steak when he's getting eaten alive by mosquitos? Well, he can't which is why you need to supply him with some of these great Citronella candles. Just make sure no one takes a bite out of them.

Best paired with: Watermelon Margaritas of course!

8. 18-piece Grilling Tool set
Look out, Bobby Flay. Once Dad is armed with these tools, there'll be no matching his basting, flipping and slicing skills. The handy carrying case enables him to pack up and hit the road as soon as he's ready to challenge Bobby to a throwdown.

Best paired with: Chipotle-Marinated Skirt Steak Fajitas

9. Free-Standing Hammock
What does a hammock have to do with grilling, you might ask? It's the perfect post-grilling place for Dad to kick back, of course. You know it's the kind of thing he's always wanted but didn't want to spend the money on. So why not spoil him. Plus, when he's off mowing the lawn, you can take a swing at it.

Best paired with: Grilled Banana Splits

10. Grill Basket
One of the saddest things about grilling is when you have a casualty. When one of the items on your grill slips through the cracks into the flame, never to be eaten. Save Dad the heartbreak by giving him one of these great Grill Baskets to keep the smaller or more fragile items on the grill, right where they should be.

Best paired with: Grilled Eggplant and Red Peppers
